The fall season has finally made it’s way to Southwest Florida! Who else is really excited about this?
This is my favorite time of year for a few reasons:
- My birthday is right around the corner (Dec. 2) – gift cards and shopping sprees to H&M will be accepted! (Ahem)
- The warmth smell of cinnamon and orange decor makes me feel warm and relaxed- hence the reason why I’m now into yoga and daily meditating
These days, I prefer to relax to some smooth jazz on my Pandora app with a nice cup of hot chocolate after work. The breezy weather feels oh-so-nice on this side of the globe.
Thank you God for giving us a break from the scorching heat…Amen!
I find myself going through phases where I get the “decorating bug”. The last project I embarked upon was our apartment home.
Was it easy? Yes! Was it fun? Of course! Why? I carefully envisioned how I wanted each room to look, wrote down a plan, and went shopping.
Some of my favorite finds were from thrift stores, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and Ross.
You don’t have to spend a ton of money to get the home you desire.
It was fun and time consuming, however it was all worth it.
Just in case your wondering, the outcome turned out great. I even got a nice compliment from the hubby and kids:)
But whether you prefer to light up a few scented pumpkin candles or cringe at the thought of it, decorating for fall should be fun and simple.

The orange candles also add a nice touch.
